To help us have a smooth and productive visit, here are a few simple things you can do if you’re able — no pressure at all:
If your baby is feeding:
Try to avoid a full feeding right before I arrive. A small snack is okay. We’ll plan to work together during a feed if possible.
Make yourself comfortable:
Wherever you normally feed is perfect — your couch, bed, or nursery chair. No need to tidy up or set anything special.
Gather anything you typically use for feeding:
This may include:
Breast pump & accessories
Bottles/nipples
Nipple shields (if used)
A Haakaa / milk catcher
Any formula or donor milk you wish to use
If this is your first visit:
Please ensure your intake form and consent are completed (found in your confirmation email). This helps us focus our session on support rather than paperwork.
And remember — your home does not need to be tidy. You do not need to look “put together.” You don’t need to prepare anything beyond simply being there.
This is care that comes to you, as you are. 💛
