Hello! I’m Madison Scurto, a Registered Nurse, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and founder of Flō Lactation. With over five years of experience in labour, delivery, and postpartum nursing, as well as a Master of Nursing, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting women and families during one of life’s most transformative times. 

My passion for lactation support is also deeply personal. When I faced significant challenges breastfeeding my own daughter—from oral dysfunction and food allergies to tongue and lip tie releases—it was the compassionate guidance of a lactation consultant and other healthcare providers that helped us continue our breastfeeding journey. After months of perseverance, we were finally able to establish direct breastfeeding. That experience gave me an incredible appreciation for the difference that skilled, empathetic support can make for families.

Through Flō Lactation, my goal is to bring that same support to others—meeting families with compassion, evidence-based guidance, and the reassurance that they don’t have to navigate this journey alone.
